DATA CENTER FORUM AFRIQUE 2024

DC Forum Afrique, Casablanca

The first Data Center Afrique was a real success !

The second edition of Data Center Afrique is back :

JUNE 13, 2024 in Casablanca, Morocco

With fewer than a hundred data centres, Africa is lagging behind the rest of the world, accounting for just 1.3% of global installations.

However, Africa has a number of advantages. The first, certainly, is the youth and commitment of the African people. Since everything has yet to be built, Africa is voluntarily embarking on this path to start from scratch and build innovation driven by its dynamic forces. This is an essential asset and a strength.

Africa is also surrounded by a large number of undersea cables that provide the best broadband interconnections. But for this to work, data – data is digital gold – needs lungs that store it, process it and give it the strength to circulate.

The African data centre market has incredible potential, and the capacity to deploy facilities of the highest technical standard.

Casablanca is unquestionably the strategic place to be as a HUB for business and airport communications. This will ensure a visitor base from Sub-Saharan Africa.
